SKY BLUES INTERNATIONAL
Calling Sky Blues supporters all over the World

We know there are many of you living in Scandinavia,
Europe, Australia, South Africa and America, in the Far East and all over
the globe. Some of you are working abroad; some of you have made your homes
many a mile from Coventry.
But one thing you have not shaken off is the Sky
Blues bug. You may be sitting down to lunch in Los Angeles or just getting
up in Melbourne, but at the Ricoh it's 9.30 in the evening.
So, what's the score? Some of you may not even come
from the UK, but Coventry City is YOUR club.
And we know there are many of you and we want to
bring you together and build on your support. Share your experiences, tell
us about where you live, what you are doing. How do you keep in touch with
the City?
You can even swap stories with fellow overseas
supporters or just stay in touch with our new Global Community.
Joining couldn't be easier. Just click below and
submit the online membership application form.
Remember to include your postal address, and you
will receive a membership certificate signed by all the players. Non-UK
residents will also automatically enjoy free membership of Coventry City
London Supporters' Club.
Wherever
you are, we need you!

SKY BLUES INTERNATIONAL
Coventry City London Supporters' Club, in a joint initiative with
Coventry City Football Club, is delighted to announce the launch of Sky
Blues International.
Sky Blues International provides a focus for far-flung Sky Blues
support, and will stimulate wider awareness of Coventry City Football
Club in the international community. It will also broaden the role of
Coventry City London Supporters' Club.
Both the football club and CCLSC wish to extend our excellent and
mutually supportive relationship in a practical way that can be of
benefit to all.
Coventry City London Supporters' Club has always prided itself on a
membership that extends beyond London and the South-East and which
continues to include members from all over the world. CCLSC used to
organise and co-ordinate a highly successful annual social event
primarily for the benefit of its non-UK members.
As a result of discussions with Joe Elliott and with Gill Sage,
International Business Development Manager at the Ricoh Arena, CCLSC was
invited to submit proposals which were then agreed upon with the
football club.
The Sky Blues International page is now live on the football club's
website,
www.ccfc.co.uk. An application form for membership can be
accessed online via a link to the CCLSC website or directly above. The
application form can then be submitted online.
Sky Blues International is incorporated within Coventry City London
Supporters' Club. Membership of both is free and inclusive to applicants
whose primary postal address is outside the United Kingdom. We invite
all current CCLSC members within this category to apply for membership
of SBI. All members of Sky Blues International will receive a welcome
package including a membership certificate signed by the chairman,
manager and team captain.
The SBI page on the football club website will provide for a global
community of members and serve as a source for relevant news and
information as well as members' contributions. Applicants will need to
tick the consent box on the application form if they wish their e-mail
address to be published. Addressed will only be published within a
secure area of the website. Plans are already afoot for an International
Supporters Day, and further developments and benefits will be announced
in due course.
We are very grateful to Pat Abel who has generously agreed to
administrate this project. Pat devoted much of her time as a
distinguished football administrator to fund-raising at Coventry City
and Chelsea. She was for forty years a very active Coventry City
shareholder, and assisted Joe Elliott in the difficult and delicate task
of tracking down and negotiating with individual shareholders at the
time of SISU's takeover. Pat will be ably supported by Lauren Bates.
Tragic local resonances from recent events in Afghanistan remind us of
how small a world we live in. Whether you are working overseas or you
live abroad, whether you're Sky Blues mad or want to find out more, Sky
Blues International looks forward to welcoming you.
